Da war er also. Nach einer, wie sollte es auch anders sein, schlaflosen Nacht in Seattle probierten wir zuerst das typische amerikanische &#8222;Continental Breakfast&#8220; aus. Dies bestand, erst mal \u00fcberlegen, ja richtig aus Toast, Toast und Beagles. Zudem stand da der obligatorische Waffle Maker. Einmal probiert, nie wieder riskiert&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach dieser St\u00e4rkung stand auf unserem Tagesprogramm, Seattle Sightseeing. Bei k\u00fchlem aber ansonstem sch\u00f6nstem Wetter fuhren wir zuerst mit der Light Rail, einer Art Stra\u00dfen- oder Citybahn, nach Seattle Downtown. Trotz horrender Eintrittspreise ein Muss f\u00fcr jeden Seattle Besucher. Per Fahrstuhl ging es die ca. 160 m in die H\u00f6he. Von der verglasten Aussichtsplattform hat man bei dem sch\u00f6nen Wetter einen phantastischen Blick auf Seattle und die angrenzenden Berge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neben der obersten Etage gibt es ein hier ein, Stockwerk, bzw. Plattform tiefer liegendes, weiteres Highlight. Eine sich drehende verglaste Bodenfront. Unter den eigenen F\u00fc\u00dfen dreht sich der Boden wie von selbst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach diesen tollen Eindr\u00fccken fuhren wir wieder abw\u00e4rts. Claudia konnte im Eingangsbereich mittels VR Brille einen virtuellen Sprung vom Tower absolvieren. Imposant war es nicht nur f\u00fcr sie, sondern auch f\u00fcr mich als Betrachter war es ganz lustig ihr dabei zuzusehen.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class='photonic-google-stream photonic-stream ' id='photonic-google-stream-1'>\n\r\n<div class='photonic-error photonic-google-error' id='photonic-google-error-1'>\r\n\t<span class='photonic-error-icon photonic-icon'>&nbsp;<\/span>\r\n\t<div class='photonic-message'>\r\n\t\tFailed to get data. Ein skuriller aber auch sehr interessanter historischer Markt. Im unteren Bereich ein historischer Laden neben dem anderen. Im oberen Bereich eher ein klassischer Markt mit Blumen, Fisch und allem was es sonst noch so gibt.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class='photonic-google-stream photonic-stream ' id='photonic-google-stream-2'>\n\r\n<div class='photonic-error photonic-google-error' id='photonic-google-error-2'>\r\n\t<span class='photonic-error-icon photonic-icon'>&nbsp;<\/span>\r\n\t<div class='photonic-message'>\r\n\t\tFailed to get data. Also lecker war dieses Etwas nicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noch ein wenig am Wasser entlanggeschlendert und das sch\u00f6ne Wetter genossen, bevor wir mit dem Zug wieder gen Hotel fuhren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul Auch dies ist aber der Erw\u00e4hnung nicht weiter wert. Per Bus die letzten Meter bis zu Hotel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr den Abend wollten wir nur etwas kleines Essen. Gelandet sind wir bei Pizza Hut. Auch diese Art von Essen sollte auf unserer Reise einmalig bleiben.
